Welcome✨

First of all, thank you for visiting my site.

As I write this post, the whole world is suffering from the COVIT-19 pandemic.

Originally, this blog was intended, in one part, to serve to inform my students and friends about my new life in Islamabad, Pakistan, which was supposed to start from mid-April, 2020. But just as everyone around the world who’s had to discard all their future plans, and are locked down in their homes, I am still in Japan, writing this post.

I’ve always believed that things happen for a reason. So I have quickly made it my thing, to accept what the heavens has decided to cast upon me, POSITIVELY😊

I am glad that I had chosen “Sparkles in life”, as the title for this section of the page, now that we need all the energy that’s left in us, to connect, support, and cheer each other up. If we look around, and observe the reality of the world that surrounds us, I know it is easier to find more sufferings and problems to complain and be worried about. But I truly believe that it is up to each one of us, to decide how to overcome this crisis. It is ok, if you choose to go all negative. But I just hope that, once you are done being all negative, you will find even a tiny thread of light to turn your spirits up. For… I for one, just refuse to take that darker and pessimistic path.

As this space just happened to open at this age of COVIT-19, I have found a new mission for my blog. And that is, to be a cheerleader to shed some light in our daily lives. It is an unprecedented and dark times for our generation, but I firmly believe that there is always a good side to all things.

I will make it my challenge to try to share with you, little sparkles of joy, to put a little smile on your face.

It is my sincere wish that your loved ones, family and friends are safe wherever you are. I just pray that we will each be given the strength, wisdom, perseverance and enough positive energy to come out of this together. Although we can not be physically together, may we come together in our minds and soul to fight for humanity and this beautiful earth.

I will continue to pray for those who have contracted this disease, fighting it, or are on the recovery. I also pray for those who‘s loved ones are ill and suffering. May there be help available to help set you on the path to recovery.

I also pray for those who have lost their loved ones to this disease. May they be able to receive all the support and love in their times of healing.

I pray for the safety and peace of mind for our children, as they are deprived from normal schooling and activities.

I pray for those suffering from hunger, solitude, violence, homelessness, unemployment, hopelessness. May they find that helping hand and love that they so need.

And I hope that we will all be able to find the ways and means to do our part in our respective places.

Last but not least, I pray for those in the front-lines, the healthcare workers, their families, and people at the grocery stores making sure to keep us fed. I pray for those essential workers that are making sure to keep our lives going.  May the heavens clear our leaders‘ eyes and soul to see what is truly important and necessary, so that the most vulnerable will receive the help that is most needed. Grant them the wisdom to be true leaders to distribute all the resources to where they are needed.

It is most unfortunate that it had to take a world-wide pandemic for us to stop and contemplate on what is truly important in our lives. But I pray that, once we reach the other side of this pandemic, we will be able to put this experience of pains and sorrows, into creating a more considerate, compassionate, and empathetic world.

 Please keep safe everyone.
